The Calgary Flames brought us all on a beloved magical ride throughout the spring, the result may not have been what we wanted but boy do I remember that spring and will for the rest of my life.
One hell of a ride boys, looking forward to the next one.

The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
What a great time indeed. I remember I was in Australia at this time and flew home early to see them play in the playoffs for the first time in 8 long years. Being a born and raised vancouverite it was so surreal when we beat the nucks, wings, sharks. Best time of my life and ill never forget it. I was wasted every other day.
I started following the Flames closely for the very first time in my life as a 14 year old, after watching a very exciting back and forth 4-4 with Vancouver earlier in the season. Donovan was just starting to go on a hot streak, MacLennan was in net since Turek was out, then along came Kipper.
The rest is history.
Remember the odd "home side disadvantage" series vs San Jose which we broke first to win the Western Conference?
Remember ####blocking the Canucks in the meanest way after they broke our hearts in game 6 and in the final seconds of game 7?
Remember Gelina's eliminator goals?
Remember "Ricci's ugly" and "Lecavalier wears pink panties"?

I remember sitting up in the 300's for game three against the Canucks. We got there at early real early. It was rush seating up there, we had our own party. Great time with Ken King walking around shaking hands and high fiving.
Absolutely incredible time to be in Calgary - easily the greatest sporting run/event I have ever experienced.
Hammered every 2nd night for two months. When it was over I was sick for a week (not to mention broke, as home games were costing over a grand per, by the finals)
Don't remember which game, but it was against Vancouver. After the game, driving down 17th (they hadn't started blocking it off at that point) and high fiving the cars coming the other way as well as the people who were walking down the middle of the street high fiving the cars on both sides.
For me, that was the game that really launched the red mile and it just got wilder every game from that point
