I'd expect we'll see fairly equal minutes for all of the lines, plus a lot of line shuffling for the first few games.

Thats a strange looking line to me. Interesting to see if Bouma can keep up in the offensive zone but I suspect a lot of plays will die on his stick.

I can only assume that's being done to add some grit to the 2nd line. But I think it's safe to say that the line combos will change throughout the game. Wouldn't at all be surprised to see Gaudreau get 1st PP duty and move up to the top 6 by the end of period 1.

Poor Stajan. A millstone hanging off each side. I realize there's nowhere else to put him, but yikes

Not bad, not bad... Now all we need is an elite RW.
(Ps. I better not be saying "all we need is an elite RW" for the next 16 years.)

Those can be found in free agency easier than centers, defensemen, or even goaltenders. Wing is one of the few spots that big names seem to come up every off-season. IF somehow we don't develop one, we can find one that way.

I like that lineup. Looks like Hartley will be rolling all 4 lines
The guys not playing tomorrow will probably play against the Oilers on Thursday.

Gaudreau and Byron on the same line? I think they played together for the one game last year. Pretty small lineup.

Definitely not. He'll be lucky to score 10 goals a year.

I would have put Colborne on the wing, Stajan as #3C and Bouma as #4C
