Any thoughts on this? Are we going to see more Canadian sales?

It says they've struck a deal but I'm more curious as to who is buying.

A lot of companies are finding that horizontal drilling and fracturing is not producing highly economic results. I know many companies that are focused on plays that involve fracturing are very actively perusing asset sales, mergers or equity funding. It is a buyer's market right now.

Americans will call it reacting to market conditions, but some will call it shiny nut syndrome... The propensity for US companies/CEO's to torch years of work and invested capital when a new wind blows (especially with new CEO's) is mind bottling. (not just shale gas but the US business mind set in general - yes I know shale gas is revolutionary...)
