Nice article on one of the few remaining good guy refs (as in we know who they are and have a sense of them as people). He's always been a fave of mine for fairness.
Nice to see the good ones getting some love. I have a buddy who is an NHL official. I have had the opportunity to hang out, have beers etc on occasion with a few of them. They have some unbelievable stories. One thing I know is that they truly truly try to get the call right( even though sometimes I get so &*^% angry at them).
