Would be nice for the Jets to win this one....BUT the Flames are rollin and will crush them. Draft picks be damned, I hate the jets.

I wonder how many people will miss the game because they are too busy refreshing the Gaudreau thread.
GFG!! I want to see them dominate in this one. The last few wins have been largely due to our goaltenders play so I hope the rest of the team will step it up tonight

Going to the game tonight with a whole passel of Jets fans. I'll be the only flames fan in that group, as such GFG 4-2 Flames.

it would be great if at some point someone threw an oilers jersey on the ice. Just because the oilers aren't playing, doesn't mean we should stop letting them know how much they suck.

With Winnipeg beating Boston, #Flames can finish no higher than 25th. Currently 26th, 2 points back of Carolina.
If Carolina wins at least one of it's two games they have the tiebreaker over the Flames and we are guaranteed 4th or 5th.
for 4th to happen, we have to lose both games and the Islanders need at least 3 points in their last two (very unlikely)
At this point, I'd put my money on 5th as the only way we get 6th is for us to win both and them to lose both.

I don't have tickets to the game tonight... although I'm considering trying to grab one (a buddy has my season ticket seats for the game).
The fans have been great this season in the Dome. For all of the awesome fans who can't make the game tonight... cheer your hearts out for our boys! I know statistically it's not a banner season... but for year one of a rebuild it has been an incredible ride.
GO FLAMES GO!

I had tickets to this game, but had to give them up to friends, as my work schedule changed. It sucks, since my two favorite teams are playing. Flames have been playing really well to close out the season, which is not uncommon for the franchise.
The Jets may have discovered their franchise goalie. Hutch has been awesome in his first two games. He'll get the start tonight, and I hope he can keep it up for the final game. Hopefully some desperate NHL club (maybe wanting to reach cap floor), will eat Pavelec's contract.
Prediction: 2-1 Jets.
PS...Hope we don't trip up your anthem singer, after the lyrics 'True North' in "O'Canada" like we have with several singers this year

There's a hockey game tonight?!?
I would propose a Johnny Gaudreau chant at some point tonight -- perhaps after they announce him as the winner of the Hobey Baker?

You guys chant the name of the company that owns the team?
How... cute.

I expect that the last home game of the season will likely be overshadowed by the HB ceremony and Johnny Hockey speculation.

If Calgary and Winnipeg go to a shootout, me and the 6 other people I'm going with are going to get a mcgrattan chant going from the 300 level. The place would explode if Ern won it for Calgary.

Two games! Even Oiler fans would tell you to settle down on calling a guy a franchise player that quick.
Particularly a guy who spend most of the year in the East Coast league.

Calgary can end up 7th in the league if Van and Carolina keep the tanking up.
