Default RCMP called in to breakup hockey fight in Stonewall, Manitoba!!!

So this is my old barn when I played Junior B. I have had a few rowdy games there and this does not surprise me in the least. Whenever certain teams would come to play it was always on the verge of out of control. I am not surprised this spilled over.

Probably Jets fans...

Funny how these hockey guys with no professional chance can take the game so serious they fight each other.

These are just kids too, like 14 years old. The scary part is the parents were full on fighting as well.

Thank god for fighting, otherwise things may have gotten a little out of hand.

The director of officials for Hockey Manitoba, Grant Heather, said while the incident is shocking, it’s not surprising.

Heather said at least 20 incidents of violence toward an official have been investigated this season alone.
I'm surprised there were refs at the game based on what Heather is saying.....

Call me not surprised it was a game against a reservation.

This has gone on for decades. When I was a kid many reservations had all of their home games taken away. I remember one game we beat the reservation team so our bus was trashed and set on fire. What makes it worse is that this was only a Atom level game.

Was in the penalty box (I was maybe 12) had two adults start throwing full garbage cans and stubby beer bottles down at me. This was in the day when adults were not afraid to hit a kid so you had no idea what would happen next.

I can count how many hockey fights my team had on one hand but every one of them was against a reservation team.

Yes, they are probably Jets fans. Some of them might be murderers and rapists and even doctors and judges.

I wonder if there are any examples of possible Flames fans being idiots?

Stupid post, not suprised

My kids play Maskwacis (both atom and novice). We have never, ever had an issue of this kind. I will say I have nearly seen a fight break out at a novice game in Ponoka, but hey they are all crazy up there right...
