Default Image corruption/failure to complete download

Hey guys!

I got a weird issue.

Images (almost exclusively large images) are either showing as corrupted or failing to download (it downloads a small portion of the image and stops).

I have tried clearing all of my browser information (cookies, cache, etc). Also ran CCleaner.

This fixed the problem for about 20 minutes... but then it started doing it again.

Any thoughts? Help? Musings?

Could this be a router issue?

Here is a visualization of the issue... I screencapped these... the first one is the every low-res image preview from google and the second one is the full image after it downloaded and the third one is my second attempt at downloading it:

This is the link to the image I was trying to download (beware, it is very large):

Who would ever do such a thing?

But in all seriousness... I would love to hear if anyone might know what this problem is?

I've had similar problems in the past (not necessarily image file corruption, but just general file corruption) due to a stuck bit in memory.

Try running memtest and see if you detect any stuck bits.
