Maybe Navarro shouldn't be trying to stretch singles......
He's a decent hitter. He just needs to play it safe in the early innings. He's not exactly a speedster.

Yea, that was unfortunate. All three Blue Jays batters hit the ball solid in the 2nd at least, hopefully a sign of things to come.

What the heck was the O's 3rd base coach doing there? Looked like an easy run, looked like Jose was just throwing to 3rd to stop the O's runner from advancing. I know he's got a great arm, but you gotta go for home in that scenario. Jays get lucky.

Cecil makes his job look easy yet again. The guy is almost automatic now.

McGowen got hit a few times hard tonight, but he was solid and didn't allow any runs.
The bullpen was great.
The bats didn't do much, but did enough to get the job done.

Jeez Santos looks good this season. This is the guy I was excited about when he came from Chicago. When Casey Janssen gets back having Cecil-Santos-Janssen as your bullpen, that is impressive. Santos's slider is absolutely amazing.

Yeah, they mentioned when he got the bone chips taken out of his elbow last season that he said it gave him better range and flexibility. His slider this year is just silly......batters know they're getting it and they still can't hit it.

Another solid pitching performance tonight, this time it is Hutchinson, no runs through 6.
Still 0-0, need the bats to get going to help the guy out.

If we can get a healthy Jose Reyes back soon it make a huge difference in our run production. The bottom of the lineup is really struggling.

The Jays seem to alternate between getting years of awesome pitching and no hitting and years of awesome hitting with no pitching.
For once, I'd like them to get both at the same time.
