Default I like Kristin Hallett

I must say, I really like Kristin Hallett. Besides being easy on the eyes I think she does a really good job and actually understands the game (not just another pretty face). The Flames have had some pretty forgettable people in the same role she has in the past, but I hope she sticks around for a while.

I haven't seen her interview anyone in over a year. With that said, I thought she was kind of terrible in the handful of interviews I have seen. Despite her looks, I would still cringe at her questions and worse how the dialogue was going. Similar to a super nerd trying to talk to his hottie crush. Yes I compared her to a super nerd.

Perhaps she has improved since then and my opinion is completely built on dated material.

I think see does a good job as well. Her understanding the game really well is nice to see. She use to play woman's college hockey for Minnasota state for a little while.

Nothing against Hallett, but I miss Alex Ruiz.

Every team seems to have a female reporter that does the more personal type interviews with the players, and that is certainly fine.

Usually, I find them to be pretty terrible as in 'this is my first job' kind of expertise.

However, I find Ms. Hallett to be more polished, more professional, and simply better than most. She also has a very high level of knowledge of the game she loves, plays, and covers.

And it goes without saying that she has a face worthy of being on that side of the camera.

10 out of 10 IMO, and I think the Flames are lucky to have her.

I saw Kristen at a restaurant with a guy wearing a Canucks hat.

She is dead to me.

It is all opinion but she was doing an interview right beside me at the Preds game and I must say that she is smoking and hotter in person.

IMO :-)

Acknowledging Beauty both physically and of the mind is not sexist. She is a pretty lady with a great sense of humor IMO.

Add to that she is quite good at her job and its fair to have fans express their appreciation.

I approve of Kristen Hallett and this thread.

Screw that, what's sexist is needing to qualify the accomplishments of someone with references to their looks. That only ever happens to women and it's crazy super sexist.

I'm not a fan personally. I think her questions are annoying, drawn out, and in the end rarely actually ask anything. Its just kind of a barely-cohesive ramble about something and then " Uhhhh your thoughts?"

I don't even really find her that attractive. Although I see why some would for sure.

Yeah, I've never seen a woman comment on a male actor or athlete's prowess in their field and then end a comment with "Plus, he's hot". Never have I seen it. Never ever.
