"MINNEAPOLIS – An MRI has revealed Maicer Izturis suffered a complete tear of the lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his left knee.

Izturis will seek a second opinion before opting for surgery, which will require a rehabilitation period of four to six months."

Tough loss for the Jays, figured he would be the every day second baseman once Reyes returned.

Very weird injury, heard he was injured walking down the stairs....

ops... spelling mistake noted.

So Rasmus is out with a sore hamstring. Anyone know what happened to Lind? I saw Thole batting DH after Lind only had 2 ABs. Injury or is he just terrible against lefties?

Knowing Lind and his back, no doubt that he's going on the DL for awhile

Good start at 8-6. If they can be 7-10 games up over .500 by June they might have a shot.

Don't they have a ton of games against the AL West and Central in the next month?

This is the time to get ahead.

Would think the AL East games are tougher for the Jays than the games against AL West or Central.

Um yeah. I agree. Which is why they need to get on a roll with these games against the West and Central

looks like Dickey strikes again, got lit up in the 5th. They're down 7-0.
