Default March 23, seven games.

There were two matinees.

at

It was a goaltender's duel, Elliott against Fleury, and the Blues
won 1-0 in regulation time. Elliott stopped all 33 Penguins shots
while Fleury faced 27 Blues shots. Backes with the only goal.
The Blues have officially clinched a playoff spot with the victory.
This game will be repeated and is worth watching.

The Islanders defeated the BJs 2-0 on Long Island and that
is a blow to the BJs playoff hopes.

NSH up 1-0. Still don't fancy their chances but it'd be sweet if they could pull that one against the Hawks.

Sportsnet had one of the Canucks keys to the game as to not spray the coach with water

Carlyle's 'ok, just ok' stuff worked wonders.

anytime you can tell a backup goalie he's not playing well, it's just going to be a phenomenal boost to his confidence when the starter gets injured

You could say Reimer's game fell off a cliff, but that wouldn't be accurate, it pretty much just drilled straight down into the mantle of the earth.

Playing Nashville is like punching an inflatable Clown punching bag...they take a beating but hang around. A seeing eye shot by Gabriel Bourque, after an awful pinch by Seabrook and Keith, both, and the 'Hawks are down 2-0 after dominating possession.

NSH wins 2-0. Rinne gets his first shutout of the season. That is promising, if he can round back into form we shouldn't be able to pass them.

Default Blue Jackets vs Isles - Comeau hits Strome from behind then gets beat on by Halmo

Not too newsworthy, but it's about an event involving Blake Comeau so...

Going to be kind of funny if Comeau gets suspended for that hit from behind on Strome as Comeau's already been suspended for a hit from behind earlier this year.
