Boston vs Buffalo in the third. Bruins up 4-1 and will go on to clinch the Presidents trophy.

Matt Hackett stretchered off following a goalpost collision too. I haven't seen it, but it is described as a leg injury. That implies to me a broken leg, otherwise he'd probably be able to skate off with help.

John Scott's NHL career may end with a pair of ten minute misconducts.

Looked like a knee thing. immediately went to clutching behind his knee.

Draft Implication Scoresheet

-EDM vs VAN

We need Edmonton to actually wake the #### up after the Smyth no-show fiasco and go play their hearts out for his final game and the final home game of the season. I'm sure they don't want jerseys raining down tonight. It's vs Vancouver who is also no good, so hopefully Edmonton isn't quite as being no good as them darn Canucks tonight.

- FLO vs CBJ

CBJ is in the playoffs! Yay! I'm sure they can pwn the crapfully crap Panthers tonight unless they go to sleep and Luongo shows up. If Edmonton wins and the Panthers lose, Edmonton bumps down to 3rd overall.

Hey can someone explain why it says on nhl.com that Detroit has clinched a playoff spot when Washington can finish with the same points and 1 more win over the wings :S

NBC NBC

at

It is in the third period and the Flyers lead 2-1.
The Flyers will lock up third place in their division
if they win this game and would play the Rangers
in the first round of the playoffs. Mason was in goal
for two periods but was injured in a collision late in
the second period, Emery is in net now. Voracek has
both goals for the Flyers and Giroux has assisted on both.

The game does not mean anything for the Rangers but home ice
advantage is at stake for the Canadiens who will play the Lightning
in the first round of the playoffs. A regulation loss by the Habs will
lock them in third place in the Atlantic Division.

The battle of Ontario, stinkin' Leafs at Senators, is a meaningless game.
The CBC can cry about having this being a regional game.

Meaningless game.

The Ducks can clinch first place in the Pacific Division

The battle of Pennsylvania has been a great game. It feels like game one of the playoffs. It is 3-3 in overtime now with rough stuff at the end of regulation. Neal tied the game at 2-2 then with 75 seconds left in regulation, Giroux scored then 38 seconds later Letang ties it.

So are the Flyers the favorites against the Rangers? They'll probably be my pick, and could go far in the playoffs with how they've played the last few months.

Fleury should be relieved that they don't face the Flyers in the first round, he'd probably have nightmares from the last time they met in the playoffs.

Philly wins in OT and clinches third in the Metro. For the Pens, the loss ensures they won't face the Flyers in the first round.

Not a lot of incentive for the Pens to win today.

Philly clinching their spot means they wont care at all tomorrow and hopefully give Giroux and a few others a rest

which makes a better chance for the Canes to get the W

Glenn Healy is already kissing butt with the Habs being the only canadian team in the playoffs. Andi Petrillo delivered a cake into the studio, it is Ron MacLean's birthday.
