Flyers score on a 5-3 early in the 1st period.

Phaneuf takes his first faceoff of the year and gets beat clean haha.

That was funny. He loses it cleanly to Giroux and 3 seconds later Lecavalier scores.

The Leafs are on their way to 7 losses in a row.

Anaheim could realistically score between 8-10 goals here.

I hope Hampus Lindholm absolutely lays out Justin Schultz tonight, not that I expect to see it, but Justin Schultz spurning the ducks (not that I like the ducks) was disgraceful. I don't want to see his career ended or anything, but I can (conveniently) cheer for ongoing failure in his career.

Also, go CBJ, I have such a soft spot for them and want them in the playoffs.

It would be nice to see Ottawa get a point at least just to make sure they stay ahead of the Flames but not expected against the Hawks even with the two goal lead.

I've just been glancing at the game. I've been watching the Heat game but it looks like there hasn't been a body check thrown yet.

but yeah, go Sens

If ottawa wins tonight i think a top five pick is gauranteed; looking through the past few years the most points gained in the last 10 games has been 5. Ottawa would be 7 points ahead with us each having 9 games left. Our schedule is easier but they would have to win max 3 games in the last 9 to get behind us and that is with us playing at a more than 0.6 points percentage.

Not to jinx it or anything but ottawa has games against us, 2x NYI, Car, Tor, NJD, Mtl, Pit, NYR there is at least 3 wins there.

After two periods
The Flyers lead the stinkin' Leafs 2-1.
Lecavalier is on the fourth line and scores and so does Hartnell,
both goals on the power play. Van Riemsdyk scored for the Leafs.

The Penguins and BJs are still scoreless. McElhinney has been playing
very well in net for the BJs, same goes with Fleury.

In the second period, Sharp has a power play goal for the Blackhawks,
it is now 3-1 Senators.

In the first period, Garbutt scores to make it 1-0 Stars.

Clinching scenarios
Penguins clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs if they get at least one point against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Blackhawks would clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs if they get at least one point against the Ottawa Senators OR if the Dallas Stars lose to the Nashville Predators in any fashion.

Avalanche (idle) would clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs if the Stars lose to the Predators in any fashion.

after being down 3-0, the blackhawks score a pair and out shoot the sens 23-5 in the second period, should be a good third in a 3-2 game.

JVR with an awful turnover in the neutral zone to Giroux who goes in and snipes top corner off the post. 3-1 Flyers.
