I'm sick of seeing and hearing #FreeTorts trending through canucks fans mouths and discussions, their sigs, plastering the annoying hashtag throughout replies all over internet sports sites. The only people that think this is cool is nux fans themselves.
In response, I'd love to see #RefundHartley start to make waves in the hockey world. CP is the best place to start it.

The league usually refunds coaches for fines if they behave well.
As for Torts he probably isn't going to get any of his 80k (?) back.

Perhaps we could chip in for the fine Hartley will get slapped with when he starts the same line on March 8 vs Canucks. That would be epic. I also believe it will be on HNIC.

Didn't find another Hartley thread so jumped into this one.
Over a month since Hartley trolled Torts. I truly hope he stays long term now. He's given the Flames everything we could ask for from a coach with a lineup like this. The veterans bought in. The kids are buying in. Everyone would throw themselves through flaming hoops for Hartley.
Hartley gave this team an identity the likes of which that hasn't been recognized since the 2004 run where we were hailed as the hardest working team in the NHL. I hope he stays for the rebuild, I'll be crushed if he gets let go TBH. And I can't be the only one.

I know it would never ever happen but to give Gillies A PTO. Sit Galliardi out let Gillies take over Westgarths spot for the game #trolltortz.

You can't play in the NHL on a PTO unless it is an emergency warm body. Gillies already has signed a PTO with Abbotsford. Gillies is also injured.
Also fun to know, since the brawl the Flames are 9-5-1, in that same period the Canucks are 4-11-1. Coincidence?

Why did Vancouver sign Torts to a 5 year $2m/per contract? Why would you handcuff yourself for that many years? The max an NHL coach should get is 2-3 years.
