Granlund was called up from the AHL, he isn't on a 9 game try out. He's a first year pro and this is the first year of his pro contract, AHL or NHL.

Didn't say I agreed with him, just from the talks on the farm board a lot of frustration boiling over from Ward.

Bitter sweet. The games are essentially meaningless and I guess it is good to see more call-ups. Just leaves our heat team high and dry, who are actually playing meaningful games.

They should get a batch of reinforcements later this month and in early April as our college prospects graduate, leave school and our CHL prospects finish their seasons off.
