Default Interest level on a vintage Atari 2600 and game collection

I know there's a lot of gamers here that appreciate the classics, as well as a lot of collectors. Well, I have a Atari 2600 and 45 games or so that I'm looking to sell.

The reason I want to check the level of interest is because I am not 100% sure it even works. I have no idea how to retrofit it to a modern television to test it. It worked the last time I used it, but that was about 20 years ago. I wouldn't want to sell someone a system that doesn't work. So this might end up being a collaborative effort if someone is serious about it.

Now I do have a few rare titles, but I will be honest in saying the machine and games are not in what you'd call collectors shape. Obvious wear with smudged and peeling labels depending on the level of use that title got. There are no boxes, and few manuals (which are in pretty bad shape). So it doesn't have traditional collectable value say for resale, but it is the kinda thing I know some people get serious about.

I had it briefly listed on Kijiji and got a lot of interest. Two of the buyers flaked out though, and I abandoned the ad when I realized I couldn't hook it up.

I know we have some tech savy people here that appreciate that kind of thing, so I thought I'd list it here and see what kind of response I get. PM if you have any interest and I'll see what I can do for you. Hopefully we can get this old horse up on it's legs again!

Also, don't miss this chance to own what is widely considered the worst video game title of all time, ET the Extra Terrestrial for the Atari 2600! A game so bad there is a landfill in New Mexico just for copies of this game! A game so bad many people believe that it was the largest factor of the bankruptcy of Atari in 1984, and responsible for the video game crash that followed after.
