Default question about delayed goal calls

What happens on a delayed goal call if something happens in the time between the puck going in the net and the whistle being blown?

For example:
-puck goes in and out of the net
-play continues
-subsequent event happens
- -other team scores a goal
- - or penalty gets called on either team
-play gets whistled
-original play gets reviewed and goal is awarded

-what happens to the second goal or penalty?
-and how does the time get adjusted if for example a penalty is called in the time after the puck went in but before the whistle? in the Flyer game today, a goal was awarded after the play went on and they put time back on the clock to go back to the time the puck went in. does the penalty get recorded as happening at the time of the goal?

The second goal would not count.

The clock is reset to the time of the original goal.

If there was a delayed penalty call on the play when the goal was scored, it would not be assessed because the goal would have wiped it out.

If there was a penalty taken between the time the goal was scored and the play was stopped, it would still be assessed (this happened in the Olympics).

The penalty would go on the score sheet as occurring at the same time as the goal (this is the same as if a player attacked a player after scoring a goal but before the next face off).

12 years ago or so the Flames were playing the Oilers. The Flames scored a goal, but nobody really reacted to the goal, the play continued and the Oilers scored a goal before the next whistle. The play was reviewed, the Flames got credit for the goal, the Oilers did not and time was added back to the clock.

The time is set back but any penalty is still counted iirc. Weird rule.
