Default It's that time of year...

The Sabres are returning for their annual visit! Yay!

Despite being mired in maybe their worst season ever, I'm pumped for the game tomorrow night. I have tickets in section 227, row 23, so if you're in the area come yell at me! May the best (ha!) team win!

I hope we crush you and Monahan gets first career hat trick, and Stajan gets first star and a standing ovation

It's amazing that you are a Sabres fan and you're think that MAYBE this is their worst season ever. I have sympathy for you, honestly.
I remember going to a Sabres game at the dome. It was Gary Roberts' return from neck surgery and he lit it up. Great atmosphere.
Enjoy the game.

Well it's certainly their worst modern season and worst in my memory. Old school fans argue the 71-72 team was worse though (a 51 point season). In any case, a historic level of badness for this franchise.

Even with how bad they've been, they're already something like 25th worst on all-time worst seasons from any team. It's amazing thinking just how terrible some teams have been.

Without looking it up, off the top of my head, I imagine there were some late-90s Ottawa Senators and Tampa Bay Lightning teams that own those records.

... maybe an Oilers team or two?

74-75 Caps posted 8 wins in the whole season. A couple of early 90's Sens teams were in the low double digits for wins. I can't even imagine, this has been bad enough.
