Report: Echl's wranglers to play home games on roof of hotel

It looks like the sky's the limit for the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the team has reached a five-year deal to play their home games on the roof of the Plaza Hotel and Casino.
The Wranglers could not get their lease renewed at the Orleans Arena so team president Billy Johnson came up with the unorthodox concept to keep the team in Las Vegas.
The exisitng parking lot on the roof of the hotel will undergo a $4 million renovation that will result in a 3,500-seat fabric-shell arena.
Visiting teams will stay at the hotel, which is expected to be ready in time for next season.

Cool, I'd attend a game. Sounds right for Vegas also: Gimmicky, Neat, and One of a kind (as far as I know anyways), and no doubt the hotel has a buffet also.

Thats all it'll cost to transform a parking lot into a hockey rink?.....which is on a roof top? I wasn't sure if this was true or not when i saw it earlier, I will believe it when I see it.

I don't know, I picture it being a climate control tennis bubble type thing, which should be fine for ice.
