Is that straight across? No picks or prospects. I didn't think Gagner had a ton of value bit cetainlu more than just receiving Clifford in return.

After holding on to Gagner way too long I would laugh is Clifford is all they get for him. It appears MacTavish is trying to bolster the bottom 6 this season which is great and all but when your top 6 is a mess I don't think it will matter.

Yeah just because you need solid bottom 6 players, does not mean you should be trading decent top 6 players for them straight across.
