6:00 AM Sunday Feb 23rd for the gold, that isn't bad at all.
Now do you nap all day to stay up drinking all Saturday night, or make it an early night and just get a good start Sunday morning... decisions decisions...

CBC has it listed at 5:00AM?
While we're at it: Bronze medal game is Feb. 22 at 8:00AM.

He's in Sask, so CST. For Calgary it is 5am.

Is this right? According to CBCs TV Listing the opening ceremonies aren't being repeated during prime time? WTH.

Not sure if this is the best thread to put it, but CBC has an android app for the Olympics. Probably an iPhone version also. Description says there's live streaming of all the Olympic competitions.

Wow, this is quite impressive...
How many Canadian labour hours will be lost over the next two and a half weeks?

I'm looking at getting a Canadian proxy to watch on CBC.ca/olympics. If anyone has any input, that would be great.

Pardon my ignorance, but why Canadian feeds? I assume Olympic coverage is available everywhere isn't it? Though, I have to say compared to the American coverage last Olympics, the Canadian one was better (less dummied down). Is it just a quality thing?

For me it comes down to the focus on canadian athletes, be it during the actual events or the special features like athlete profiles and interviews and stuff. I didn't realise how much I liked that aspect of olympic broadcasting until I watched the NZ broadcasts of the 2012 olympics. It just wasn't the same. The worst part was that I never got to hear O Canada (though I can't really blame the broadcasters for that ) CBC's wall-to-wall coverage is amazing, and I'll be really bummed if I can't catch any of it this time around, since there's sure to be more than one O Canada.
And the winter olympics aren't a big deal here at all, so all we get is some minor coverage on a sports channel I don't even get.

Yes I can definitely get coverage here. But I don't speak much German, French, or Italian.
The UK channels I get will have the opening ceremonies but pretty limited coverage of the events I want to see. CBC does of great job of putting everything online along with daily updates and analysis. Focuses on Canadian althletes and, as far as I can tell, shows every event.
For anyone interested, I did about 2.5 minutes of research then downloaded HideMyAss. Paid something like 10USD for the month of February. You can choose from a pretty huge list of IP locations (4 in Canada). Started watching the slopestyle and moguls qualifying on CBC.
