Default Olympic Streaming - Samsung Smart Tv

We are looking into streaming Olympic Coverage at work to one of our meeting rooms with a Smart TV in it. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible with the apps that Samsung has available, or any sort of hacky work around that would make it work.

Could you use a Chromecast and stream the CBC livestream?

Buy one of the many slingboxes that are always for sale in the Buy/Sell forum.

I will look into the Slingbox idea. It would work well, I think.
Thanks for the suggestions.

As for the Chrome cast, I would rather it not be killing our wifi all day, it is crappy enough as it is.

I don't think there is a browser, but maybe I am just blind or we just don't install it.

We're looking at doing the same thing. If you don't want to tie up the internet, the best bet is the Slingbox. You can get a 350 for a very good price if you look around. HD stream.

Doesn't the Slingbox use the internet?

With a little work I've set it up to stream over our private internal 'internet' from a satellite feed we own but don't have access to at work.

Good enough for 2 weeks of Olympics coverage.

Seriously though, if you have a half decent internet connection, just stream a feed from the CBC site. The quality is great on a projector with a 100'' screen.

What link are you using? I found the feed seemed to just be for one event at a time. So really meant for somebody clicking on link after link; not something that could be left unattended.

They have web casts for most of the major events if you're not watching the live stream. We just watch those for the time being. On their Olympic site I usually find them in the bar along the top.

I just set it up to watch the hockey games since most of them will be during work hours so it should work out fine.
