In time to score enough goals to lead the team in goal scoring this season.

Was estimated he'd be out for 8 weeks, that puts him back the week of the 16th. He's already skating on his own, so probably back in a game after the Olympic break.

I like him, always have. glencross at 2.55M this year and next is not what's killing this team. Reminds me of the contract russel just got. he'll probably just be bumping stempniak out of the top 6, which is no crying shame given that there will probably be some vacancies at the wing after the deadline.
effective 40 pt player, and a character guy on the cheap, can never have too many of those.

Hope Glenny was able to take a step back and see what's been wrong with his game of late. From what I saw he let all the hype get to his head and decided he was done with being a gritty power forward and instead be a finesse player who drop passes like mad.
He's unlikely to be traded and considering he took a pay cut to be with the flames I don't think it's right for Burke to ask him to waive his NTC. He's a good guy and I'd love to see him build some chemistry with one of the young guys moving forward.

if he comes back like the effective power winger that he can be then it can only help this team get better...one less hole to fill, especially if a couple of the other forwards are moved.

I'm not into posting rumours - check my history - just wanted to pass along something Burke said to a friend of mine in getting a photo with him after one of his recent speaking engagements here in town.
She said she is a Theo fan first, but her current favourite Flame is Glencross and that she plans to buy his jersey. Burke apparently told her "don't waste your money."
What does this mean? Your guess is as good as ours. Either he's not long for this team, simply not in the long-term plans, or not a good enough player to warrant a fan to wear his jersey. Whichever way you look at it, Burke doesn't seem sold on good ol' Scoreface.
Take it for what it's worth - but it wouldn't surprise me to see him moved (somehow) at the deadline or draft.

That's an insane thing for Burke to say and I am a huge supporter of his. Completely unprofessional

Someone here who attended one of Burke's speaking events said something similar, that Burke is not a Glencross fan.

Guys don't freak out. What happened was she said she wanted to buy a Glencross jersey. Burke scoffed at her and said ''don't waste your money''. He then turned around... and pulled a brand new Curtis Glencross jersey from the box behind her and handed it to her, for free. Complete class act on his part.
Jeez, some things get completely overblown on this site!

More likely that he bumps Bouma out of the top 9 or Colborne out of the top 6 (with Hudler sliding back to RW). With so few natural RW'ers (and with Stempniak likely exiting at the deadline) I doubt they move him out of the top 6 until he's traded.
