if the Flames play as well as they have of late and the Habs play as badly as they have, it should be an easy 2 points for Calgary

I was on Facebook and Calgary Sun had a headline of "Cammalleri back to Canadeins". Needless to say, I was on CP three seconds later wanting confirmation.

It would bring me great joy to be a part of Montreal missing the playoffs.

If the Flames lose every game of the season other than games against Edmonton, Vancouver, Detroit and Montreal, I'd be OK with that.

Hate the Canadiens with the intensity of 1000 suns.

Considering the way Parros' season has gone I would recommend Westgarth if he decides to drop the gloves.

EDIT: looks like Parros is a scratch

I really hope Ortio plays... Just don't feel comfortable with Berra at all. Should have won in regulation against the Wild.

Berra will likely be starting..

We lose this one 4-2 (Backlund) (Gio)

Honestly I'm glad it's Berra getting the start tonight. There's going to be enough pressure on the guy playing in his first NHL game. Add the pressure of trying to keep a win streak going in the loudest building in the NHL and I'd say it's just too much.

It's honestly a win-win situation. If Berra plays well and wins than we've got a 6 game win streak. If he flops as many expect, then it's Ortio starting the next game with a lot less pressure.

Love when they play out east so I'm not half asleep by the time the 3rd period starts. Go Flames!

And as long as I get to see Suban get levelled, I'll be happy.

Yaaay, I love the start time.

So Breen has been up for 4 games and played about 4-6 minutes in only 1 of them right? Not an issue at all as maybe they are just helping him in training still, making sure he's understanding what goes on in the games so they feel comfortable slotting him in.

Don't know what to make of the Canadiens this season as I haven't seen too much of them but they seem to be wandering down struggle street right now. Flames win 4-2. (both goals against come in the 3rd).

Berra shouldn't be starting any games ever again for the Flames. I'll call the loss now. Tough position to put Ortio in, but I would rather he start over Berra. He is NOT an NHL goaltender.

Berra needs to know how to close games. We were up 3-1 with 10 minutes left again and somehow managed to choke. I know our defense can be the problem, but sometimes the goalie has got to make some key saves for us. A real bummer Ramo is injured.

Berra is not a very good goalie. He makes some great stops, but is good for a softie or two every game.

anyways, go flames. Hoping to see guys like backlund continue their strong play.

Don't really care about the score any more, just wanna see the great play of some guys continue and wouldn't mind seeing some of our "trade bait" guys step it up.

Best thing for the Flames right now is for Cammalleri and Stempniak to get hot.

(I know GMs aren't going to evaluate players based on their last couple games, but it still can't hurt with perception)

One could argue that Stempniak has already heated up. 6 points in his last 4 games and 9 in his last 9. That's coming off a streak of 1 point in his previous 17 games.

Yeah it's weird how little confidence I have in Berra in the 3rd period, and how much confidence I have in OT/shootout..
