Well Flames didn't deserve to win but neither did the Habs. Was happy about the start time thinking I wouldn't be half asleep by the third, but I was anyway. Yawn.

Well...

Silver linings:

a) Florida & NYI won
b) Now that the streak is over Ortio might get a game
c) Berra actually played pretty solid for most of the game.

Berra had a pretty good game, but the offence disappeared. I'd still like to see Ortio against the Isles, but we probably won't.

Flames didn't go to the dirty areas but did a lot of other things well. Just wish we could get rid of Cammalleri and Wideman and bring in some young guys who actually care.

Good job blocking the 1985-86 banner with your big head, Kerr. Nobody wants to see that.

Montreal looks pathetic. Flames arguably outplayed them, despite both teams looking very lacklustre, and a garbage goal gives them the game. They continually played a perimeter game that was extremely ineffective. Definitely only a playoff team in the inferior eastern conference. The only thing they did consistently well was block shots.

Flames were asleep for 2/3 of the game. Too little too late. Very sad to see 3 important streaks end at the hands of a club playing very mediocre hockey.

What is most saddening is that I had to miss most of the past 5 games, finally got to sit down and watch a whole game through, was very excited to see an exciting brand of Flames hockey again, and received this dud. Disappointed fan tonight.

We can't win them all. Berra played well. Monahan played well. Really like our young kids...and Gio.

Of course Bork would score. You had to know that. He has sucked all year. That will make the Habs think he is still worth keeping.

It was a good run. Not overly disappointed.

Wait until when Glencross is back, it could get worse.

I was hoping to wear my Flames jersey around town tomorrow.

I guess that won't be happening.

Onward to the Islanders.

I didn't really see most the game. So it looks Berra played well and only gave up one goal but the offense decided not to score. What a rotten luck Reto Berra have. Still haven't get his first regulation win.
