Looks like a pretty big steal for Vancouver getting player #61 for virtually nothing.

Habs were having contract issues with Diaz:

Didn't sound like contract talks were getting anywhere with Habs/Diaz... MTL ships him to VAN for RW Dale Weise

Diaz has been a healthy scratch for weeks it seems. I know nothing about Weise.
