Edmonton @ Buffalo

Unfortunate occurrence for these 2 teams, as 1 of them will be forced to suffer a win tonight.

I'm gonna say 4-3 Buffalo.

The game is not simulcast on TSN2 due to curling, Scotties
Tournament of Hearts. Canadian viewers can get this game
on Centre Ice.

A good chance viewers can have their choice of which feed they
can listen to. The NHL Network feed will probably use the Kings
feed since they are the home team.

Since coming to Edmonton, Scrivens' stats are:

.943 sv% - 2.20 GAA
2 wins - 3 losses

And they sit him against Buffalo, in favor of Bryz and his .903 sv%, 3.22 GAA, and 4-8-3 record.

Has it ever been more obvious that a team is trying to out-tank another?

Oilers being doubled up on shots against again. That team is so horrible. 90 percent of their roster only tries in the offensive end of the rink.

Nice backchecking by Eberle on that SHG goal against! Just pitiful! What a gutless bunch of entitled players.

Da Costa scores the Senators opening goal, Gibbons ties it on the power play. It is 1-1 in the first intermission.

Sabres lead 2-1 after one period.

can players opt out of the draft? I think I would rather wait a year than risk being drafted by Edmonton

Irrelevant, really. Edmonton would guaranteed draft Ekblad, I'd be more interested in getting offensive help (as I expect Sabres management is too). If they get the first overall over us, I don't think it would change the player either team picks.

However a team 3-14th is likely to win the lottery and bump both teams down one.

Carter's goal has the Devils leading 1-0 over the Avalanche.

Abdelkader scores, 1-0 Red Wings over the Canucks.

Senators-Penguins still tied 1-1 early in the third period.

Oilers-Sabres tied 2-2 after two periods.
