Default February 1, ten games!

There are four matinees which makes for double and tripleheaders on the various networks!

The CBC has a discontinuous tripleheader including the Wild-Flames game.
There is a three gap between the first and second game, RDS will show the
first two games.

and

Game began at 1100h

at

It is 1-1 in the third period. It has been a rough game as both goalies
were involved in rought stuff.

At 1700h

at

Another battle of Ontario and it should be a good one
as both teams are close to each other in the division
and wild card standings.

Sabres and Edmonton have those last picks locked up so tight that the pressure is turning them into diamonds.

1000 games for Reggie.

@LAKingsPR Thanks to @NHLFlames and (former Kings forward) Craig Conroy for taking part in festivities honoring Robyn Regehr!

100 shots on goal against for the Oilers over their last 2 games.

That is terrible, I honestly can't believe they are worse this year then those other years they finished last. How do you turn 3 first overall picks into another last place team that is even worse then you were before.

Subban sure has looked like garbage since being chosen for Sochi. Still very much an offensive threat, but I bet Babcock hesitates in playing him in key situations.

Like most Flames fans I would like to see the Oilers bad for as long as possible but I simply don't see how they can bring back Eakins next season. They have as good or better roster than the Oilers teams of the past three years but this year's team plays worse. There is simply no defensive structure and it's hard to fathom them becoming better next year in this system as there has been zero improvement.

I thought Eakins was supposed to be a genius when it came to coaching young players. That experiment is an EPIC FAIL!

Couldn't happen to a better team!

I hate Colorado. They keep going from lottery pick to playoffs.

No doubt they'll be running for McDavid next year.

Their actually playing really well. This season is going well, it's just seems bad because the media is hacking the Oilers apart trying to oust Eakins so they can get the donuts back in the media rooms

Edmonton plays Buffalo on Monday so that game will be for all the marbles (or futility) before the Olympic break. If Buffalo wins they would be 2 points back with 3 games in hand. Technically still in last but Edmonton definitely would hold the hammer.

I have a feeling this might be the year where they finish last or 2nd last and get beaten in the lottery missing out on the one time they might actually take the D man (Ekblad)

Lol.. nice phrasing in the Leaf's Special Forces Night ceremony: "He spent 37 years in the armed forces, assisted 17 downed fighter pilots, was part of the Canadian DART team.... but most importantly, he's a life long Leaf's fan!"

What, tank for assets, then be good enough to be a playoff team, but then decide to tank again so you can draft Mackinnon?
