Default February 2, just two games.

It is Super Bowl Sunday and that is why there are only two early games on the schedule.

Game began at 1030h

The Capitals lead 3-1 in the middle of the second period.
This is part two of the home-away series, Detroit won on
Friday in the shootout.

It is scoreless after one period. Montoya has been excellent in net

Jets now 4 points behind Van. My god does Montreal love to dive. Was like watching the Canucks of old.

Just how bad of a coach was Noel?

Why do the Jets only put in Montoya on the odd occasion, when he is a far better goalie than Pavelec?

The Jets bouncing Gallagher around on the delayed offside was hilarious. No idea why he tried to go behind Montoya through the crease.

I'd much rather the Jets make the playoffs than the Canucks.

Yeah, I'd love to see the atmosphere in Winnipeg if they make the playoffs

Complete bedlam. I could only imagine how insane it would be if the Jets upset a top tier team like Chicago or San Jose. The city would have to shut down Portage and Main for weeks.

And probably have to shut it down for months if they lose.

I would rather the Canucks make the playoffs than the Jets. Another Canucks failure in the playoffs would be nice.

I'm not sure the Jets bandwagon can handle a playoff run. I believe their bandwagon was built with 20% less capacity than the average NHL bandwagon.

These playoff races are going to be good for the sellers come trade deadline.

East - 8 points separate 4th - 13th place
West -7 points separate 6th - 12th place

Horrible. His constant line juggling, and being especially critical of the young players drove Burmistrov to the KHL, and delayed the progress of Scheifele, who has been on fire since Maurice took over. Near the end, Kane was seen having shouting matches with Noel on the bench, and even went through the media to say he was benched a few minutes after Noel declared him unfit to play.

Noel lost the team early in the year, and for most of his tenure, seemed confused, and to play like a bunch of individuals, rather than as a collective unit.
