Quote:
Calgary has won a season-high three straight -- all at home -- after dropping a franchise-record seven in a row at Scotiabank Saddledome. They'll look to extend their winning streak to four when they host the suddenly offensively challenged Sharks.

The Sharks are going to be livid after the disaster against the Oilers last night. Our boys will be in tough to pull this one out.

Sharks are pretty banged up though.

Quote:
Notable Injuries: San Jose defenseman Scott Hannan (upper body) and forward Marty Havlat (lower body) returned Wednesday. Forwards Logan Couture (hand), Tomas Hertl (knee), Adam Burish (lower body) and Raffi Torres (knee) remain on injured reserve.
Calgary needs to play a high tempo game like they did on Tuesday, Ramo with some key saves. I could see the Flames pull a tight one out, 3-2 for the good guys.

Either that or they'll be exhausted. I'm hoping that's the case.

Also, Cammalleri a late scratch? Trade happening? I thougt he was good to go.

Kick the sharks while they're down!

I hope Monahan has his best game so far and shows what a real Calder candidate can do!

Some good news on the IR front,

Glencross suffered high ankle sprain vs #Penguins Dec 11th. Quite an achievement to skate so soon.

Good News for #Flames. Curtis Glencross skated by himself for 8 to 10 mins. Word is it felt good. Expected to return after Oly Break,

I don't think Monahan is even in the top 5 for Calder anymore, sadly. He's having a pretty good season but there are so many good rookies this year that his chances of winning are pretty slim now.

Not sure we can win this one after their loss last night. But it is guaranteed to be an entertaining one!

After their 59 shot barrage against the Oilers last night, the Sharks are only able to manage 11 against the Flames. Law of averages.

Easy 1-0 shutout for Ramo and the Flames. Gallardi with the GWG and celebrates by the unveilling the Red Steel. Monahan gets both assists.

When San Jose scores, I'm blaming you.

The same way the Oilers probably thought "Well, here's the end to our streak", I have to feel a little the same way.

However seeing how much their lines are shaken up gives me a bit of hope, plus the whole second of a back to back thing.

I'm going to go 3-2 in a SO to the sharks, still going to be proud of the effort.

I fear this game will end badly for the Flames.

What's Calgary's record against San Jose over the last couple seasons? I feel they have had our number for quite a while.

Go Flames!

The oilers tend to skew statistics.

Win, lose, no big deal. Just make it as entertaining as the Hawks game was.

It's true. All the top rookie candidates are up there mainly thanks to their assists numbers from feeding off the offense of better teams.

Money does need to rack up some more helpers though. It's getting a little ridiculous. Then again, skating on a line with Galiardi, exactly how are you supposed to be setting up goals?
