Downloaded it and it looks pretty slick. I wish they had some sort of way to follow a team as opposed to individual players. Maybe it's in there and I haven't found it yet but cool app nonetheless.

Too bad Westgarth is the only 'verified' Flame using it, but I'm sure he'll try and get a few others to look at it, especially if he's friends with the developers and helped pitch ideas.

Android version seems to lack the features that some of the ios versions seem to have.

Downloaded the app. I have a news feed of highlights. Sorta the NHL app with a like button? What am I missing?

It also gives you updates on any player you choose to follow. I just added all prospects so I can see how they did that night.

Plus you can give them a "bump" by which I assume is meant fist bump. Kinda lame though

Westgarth certainly isn't just Braun on the ice. The guy has a Psychology major from Princeton, and was heavily involved in the new CBA negotiations, he dealt with the player pension, and contract limits.
Another fun fact about smart NHL players: George Parros was named the 4th smartest athlete in sports. He also majored at princeton, but in economics. Wonder how many more concussions it'll take before he falls off that list?

Craig Adams of the Penguins is a Harvard graduate, history major.

Joe Juneau had a 4.0 GPA and graduated a year early with an aeronautical engineering degree from RPI in New York... despite not knowing English when he arrived in NY.

I was skeptical when watching the Dragon's Den video but it actually is a very cool app. I could see it taking off in the fantasy hockey world especially.

Would be nice if the Flames get more involved - right now Westgarth is the only verified Flame. However, there are some big names verified on other teams. I just went and followed Toews, Quick and some other guys.

I'd like to see this blow up and if they did get it into other leagues like the NFL and NBA it would be a hit there as well.
