yeah that's why I wanted to talk to a tech. There is a part I want to add to my jeep. It's the auto AC controls. I have the manual ones and the auto ones look better IMO. The Jeep forums say it's just kind of a plug and play piece. My dealership in Oklahoma said "Oh I don't know if that would work".

I wanted to talk to a tech to get a definite answer and maybe how much time and money it would take to install it.

I would trust the forums over a tech, take this from someone who can't leave cars alone and is always tinkering. Typically the techs only know common stuff, and wouldn't necessarily have done a conversion like you're suggesting.

Yes me too but I'm not comfortable with doing the work myself which is why I also wanted to see what it would cost to do the installation.
