Travel - Morocco

Anyone been? Perhaps heading there for a week in May. We were 20 once, but that was a long time ago so the party days if there were any are long gone. Looking to see some history and visit an interesting country.

Can you speak french?

I've not been, but it's on the list. I'm sure there are a few here that have been. Morocco has been on the tourist map for a while now so i'm sure the infrastructure is there.

Tangier is nice, but I don't think you'd need more than 3 days there unless you really enjoy smoking hash and sitting around drinking mint tea and not doing much of anything. I was there for 5 days this summer, and it was definitely more time than I needed. If you do go, make sure you eat at Le Saveur du Poisson. It was one of the better seafood meals I've ever had, and it wasn't expensive at all.

I haven't been anywhere else in Morocco, but I'd think it could be worth splitting a week between Tangier an Marrakech or Casablanca.
