It's not many teams that the 'Hawks are more physical than, in matching up...so far, Bollig has been crushing Wings. Bickell wins a battle 1 on 3 in the corner, during a line change, and sloppy defending leaves Hossa uncovered to bounce one in off of his shin...nice feed by Toews to bank it off of Hoss.

Then, Shaw with a nice stretch pass to Saad...Gustavsson failed to corral a bouncing puck to allow Kane, then Shaw a whack...Shaw scores as the Wings again fail on a backcheck.

Later, Oduya coughs up a puck, then accidentally tips a Tatar shot through CC's 5-hole. Now 2-1 late 1st.

Oduya is struggling tonight...He failed to recognize that Abdelkader had lost his stick (slashed out of his hands, delayed penalty was coming)...Oduya made a weak poke at a loose puck, instead of just skating to it and moving around the stick less Abdelkader...as the puck was moving slowly, Abdelkader was able to make an amazing soccer kick pass to Eaves, all alone down the right slot...2-2 end of 1st.

'Hawks D coverage gets screwed up when Seabrook has to go to Keith's corner to battle Abdelkader, Keith got caught going around the net, leaving Nyquist uncovered in front...easy chip in goal when Abdelkader wins the board battle...4-3 Wings, 6min to go in 2nd.
