Jets fire head coach Claude Noel. Paul Maurice hired.

TSN has learned Claude Noel has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Winnipeg Jets. Assistant, Perry Pearn also let go. #TSN

Jets were certainly an overrated team, but Noel was a terrible coach. Still plenty of talent to work with on that roster.

Bout time, Noel never should have been pulled up from the Moose IMO. Always seemed like a shortsighted decision by Jets ownership.
