Watching the Detroit alumni brings back memories. I think they could beat the current Flames.

Fedorov, Lidstrom, Shanahan, Yzerman, McCarty, Larionov and a bunch of other great players.

was just going to say, what a stacked and recent alumni team

don't think you could put together a better alumni team of the last 20 years than what the Wings are putting out there

Yikes, Gordie Howe is pretty much at Weekend at Bernie's territory now.

Hate the camera angle.

The only outdoor game to get the camera right was Flames-Habs.

At the end of the second period
The Habs are up 3-0. Pacrioetty has the last two goals, could be a natural hattrick. Desharnais has the assists on those goals. Price is playing well in net.

The Jets have a 2-0 lead on the Sabres, the Bruins and Islanders are tied 3-3. The Bruins were up 3-1, Okposo tied it with three seconds left in the middle period.

At the end of the first period
The Ducks lead 1-0 over the Sharks
It is 1-1 tie between the Kings and Stars, same score for the BJs and Avalanche.

Final scores
The Blues defeat the Wild 2-1 in regulation time. Elliot had his shutout
quest ruined with nine seconds left in the game.

The Rangers win 2-1 over the Panthers in the shootout. The Rangers spoiled the
shutout for Tim Thomas with two minutes left in regulation.

The Hurricanes strike quickly at the beginning of the third period! They tie the game 3-3 with three goals in 4:07. Skinner with two power play goals with Staal tying at even strength.

The Islanders get an early goal by Tavares, 32 seconds into the thrid period, 4-3 Islanders.

As much as I HATE the coilers this is the perfect time of year for them to string a few wins together. Hopefully they pick another smurf at 12th overall.
