Can We Safely Declare This As Feaster's Team Now?
Incredibly, there's not a whole lot left from the Sutter era on the current roster: Glencross (whom Feaster re-signed), Giordano, Brodie, Stajan, Backlund, Brodie, and Bouma. Like the title says, can we safely declare this as Feaster's team?

Soon as Kipper hung up his pads and Iggy & Bouwmeester got traded I started considering it Feasters team.

Last season was Feasters first season of it as his team. Yes Sutter did not leave him with much but Feaster did not have to re-sign half the players he was left with.

Given the organization's mandate at the time, I think he did.

They have to trade Cammy and Stajan first. Maybe Glencross too.
And for the record, I'm looking forward to it being Burke's team.

You're right..... in my opinion "the mandate" was to win with Iginla while he was still under contract here.
If it couldn't be done by the final year of that contract they would look to finally rebuild.

Matt Stajan is the only Flame who wasn't acquired or signed by Feaster. So ya, it's Jay Feasters team and it has been for a long time.
I am also looking forward to the day that the Flames become Brian Burkes' team. Feaster is the biggest lame duck GM since Jay Feaster in his last season with the Lightning.

We all rode the Iginla love in this city for as long as we could. I think when he returns to Calgary they should let him play in our lineup for just a period or two.
Feaster bunny has made some good moves and some bad moves. Mostly I like what I see coming onto the shelves in the future.

This is Burke and Feaster's team. Why don't some of you get it that they work as a team. This isn't the old way of doing things where the GM just gets full control to run with it. That got us in trouble in the past. This is better, two great minds running the show together. Two is better than one in this case IMO.
I agree with some of the posts above, this was Feaster/Burke's team once the big names got moved last year.
