Hey guys...Now that I am back from Europe, I need a place to live. I am looking for a place to rent in the southwest (Altadore-Marda loop region preferably).

Does anyone know A) a site I can find places on, or B) a place that fits this criteria.

Thanks...

Don't move to Somerset... you'll regret it.

We found a new place in Cougar Ridge through the Herald. Also search "Calgary home rentals" in google and you'll find a couple sites.

Welcome back

Personally, I liked living in Somerset. There were plenty of convenient amenities and it was relatively quiet.

Bah to that... the neighborhood sucks. Unless you really love McLeod Trail.

Ever actually go out walking in Somerset or was your scope of Somerset from the apartment to the train tracks?

There is a really nice park with a waterpark for children up the way from there.

People keep their yards clean and you don't need to worry about the security of your loved ones after dark.

Just because it wasn't your cup of tea doesn't mean that the neighborhood sucks.

As far as Macleod Trail goes I didn't find it that bad because I rarely used it as a serious route. Deerfoot or 14th are the way to go.

Yeah I suppose i'm selling it short... It's not too bad at all. There are a few good walking spots. To me it felt like Edmonton for some reason... just a clusterfata of shopping places, flat terrain, swamps... I dunno. I guess it's sweet if you go to Montana every weekend.
