wranglers Christmas Trees of the Unreal Variety

So I am sick of hauling in a sappy, needle-dropping allergy fest every year - and I think I've convinced my wife that we should get a really nice fake Christmas tree...

Any suggestions for where one could procure a life-like false Xmas tree in town? I looked at Cdn Tire, but they are pretty tacky - Looking for 9 feet, preferably...

Nicest (and cheapest!) one I've found was at Costco. I continually get compliments on mine. Not sure what they have this year though.

We got a really great 9.5 footer at Canuck Wheel three years ago. I haven't seen any like it since though. Like kunkstyle, friends of ours got theirs at Costco - it's a beautiful tree. Zipped in and out of The Bay today and they had some gorgeous ones but they're probably pretty pricey. If you want to order online, and are prepared to pay big bucks for it, check out Balsam Hill. They ship to Canada but would it get here in time, and how much are you going to get dinged for S/H?

Haven't been near a Michael's during the xmas season in years, but they used to sell some pretty nice ones there. I guess after that, check the typical places - Sears, Rona, Home Depot, etc

Do you have Art Knapp in Calgary? They always have nice fake trees - they even have the Vietnamese kids glue real, authentic pinecones on them!

EDIT: looked it up. No Art Knapps, but I remember a couple of years ago around Christmas my mom and I were visiting family in Calgary and we went to the Golden Acre garden centre off of McKnight and Edmonton Trail. They are BIG into Christmas. Classy stuff, too.

Costco was where we found ours, but that was a few years ago.

Thanks all. All costco's were sold out, so we bought a nice 10 ft'er at Cdn Tire. Not ideal but decent.
