Terrible giveaway from Ramo results in a goal against.
Terrible and soft play by Butler results in a goal against.
Russell's got as many points as Iginla now so that's something.
Edit: looks like Hudler got the assist now instead of Russell, so I guess nevermind...

Tough loss.
+: The team didn't quit.
-: The professionalism and integrity of the on-ice officials.
-: Butler is still Butler.
I'm disappointed that Baertschi hasn't been able to elevate his game yet. He played intimidated for 55 minutes.

Odd man rushes and a bad play by Ramo behind the net cost the Flames.

Well that's what happens when you're scared to make a tiny mistake since he'll be scratched the game after if he does.

Put Butler on waivers already, what a waste of a d-man roster spot.

Yeah on that one goal he left his man early in the offensive zone and the Aves regained the puck, took control brought it the other way and scored. Sven looks a lot more involved but plays like he doesn't want to get hurt. Not sure if that's a confidence issue or what.

We should be thankful that they were on our side tonight. Could've been uglier if they didn't rob the Avs on some of those calls.

Stempniak has been pretty bad since he returned and is now a -13. They really need to deal him now before his value drops any more then it already has.

Not being negative about Sven, but I think the AHL for the rest of the year would do him good.
