Senators' Heritage Classic jersey leaked
Didn't want to put this in the Islanders' Stadium Series sweater thread. The Senators' Heritage jersey has been leaked. I like it.

Not bad. Better than the last striped one they had.

That is 100% exactly how I thought it would look.
Nicely done Ottawa, keep putting the number of Stanley Cups you have won on the front of your jersey.

The Senators have a handful of Stanley Cups? None in 80+ years, but they still have a bunch.

No they don't.
The Senators are an expansion team from the 90s. The original Senators have nothing to do with this team.

Except for the basis for the =0= symbol you are reffering to and the basis for these striped jerseys.

Exactly, it's like how a lot of people in BC think the Millionaires Stanley Cup counts as the canucks.
Talked to someone a few weeks back who was convinced that the Millionaires just changed their name to the canucks later.
It's amazing how many fans here are canucks fans and not hockey fans.

No matter what they put on the front of the jersey, this version of the Sens still has zero Stanley Cups.
Vancouver will be wearing their Millionaires sweaters to this game, does that mean they will have a Stanley Cup as well?

I agree they are not the same franchise, but it seems funny to make a comment about the symbol meaning '0' cups when in the fact the team they are paying homage to by using that symbol does in fact have cups.

Paying homage to a team and being the team are completely different things.
Anyways.... as much as I like to make fun of the Sens, I like this jersey as well as the other zero sweater.

The jersey looks exactly how it was expected to, so that's good. Also what you can't see, is like the Flames Heritage Classic sweater, the name and numbers will be felt.
Not sure about the =0= though, although it might be felt too.
I heard Vancouver is just going to rehash their Millionaire jerseys so i guess nothing to see there.

This looks good, well done Sens. I agree with the felt, it looks nice with this jersey (and the black one too) and was a nice touch on the Flames HC as well. It was the felt that made me overlook the McD stripes.
I actually kind of like the Millionaires jersey Van had last year and good on them for not rolling another jersey after they've only worn that one once last year.

... or the fact that the team openly hangs banners for those 9 original stanley cups and those teams.
