Nichushkin driving hard to the net and it looked like his leg collided with Anderson's head. Hopefully it was just precautionary. He gave the thumbs up and waved to the crowd as he was being taken off.
He was also walking around the locker room after the game. The stretcher was entirely precautionary.
"The Ottawa goalie was able to walk around on his own by the end of the game, but MacLean said he was suffering from a stiff neck and would require further evaluation. MacLean said he expects him to miss Tuesday's game in Columbus."
The Wild beat the Devils 4-0 as Josh Harding gets the shutout and Schneider was the losing goalie. This is the second consecutive game that the Devils have been held scoreless.
