I can't recall a season with this many terrible teams.
There's more competition for last than their is for first.

The BJs are getting pounded as well. The Penguins scored three goals in just over four minutes early in the second period. It is 4-0 now.
The Capitals also lead 4-0 and scored three goals in under three minutes, early in the middle period!
The Senators get two quick ones in just over a minute late in the period and lead 2-0 after one period.
The Blues are up 1-0.

Hopefully he doesn't get into any altercations.

Now 6-0 Caps. Only in the 2nd period.
I'd like to say Philly has a chance to get back into this one but yea...

Alex Steen makes it 12 (at least) goals in 11 games to start the season. Not a bad start...

Flyers are a mess. Holmgren whiffed on the coaching change and the team is just bad. Not sure what's up with Giroux but it's possible he's maybe a player that had his career year and isn't as good as we thought he was. Season is still early but I would be a little worried if I was a Flyers fan.

I thought their issues were mostly due to coaching. Perhaps not.

I think it's a bad mix and maybe a lack of leadership. The losses of Carter, Pronger, Richards seems to have left a massive leadership void and it's possible that Giroux simply isn't ready to be leading a team as his play has dropped off drastically after getting the C.

Looks like a huge brawl took place in The Washington game. Ray Emery and Holtby also fought.

It wasn't really a fight, it was Emery beating the crap out of Holtby
