Well we managed to go 1-1 in these two. Chicago controlled us completely and then we took care of Dallas 3-1. We have about 10M in cap burning a hole in my pocket and need forwards though.

Generating tons of shot but not getting the scoring. Gotta think that will come eventually....I hope. Bernier out matched by hiller for sure.

Sens destroy the Maple Laffs with 4 power play goals. Lots of fights between these two rivals.

Wow. Rangers scored four unanswered goals in the second on us. All in PP.

wow, that was not pretty. Will probably dress some AHLers tomorrow to mix it up.

My team seems to be angry ... a total of SEVENTEEN fights in four games. Mark Fraser seems to punch every guy he sees - 5 fights and 41 PIM so far. But my scoring leaders seem to enjoy fighting, too ... Lecavalier, Grabner, Conacher and Hagelin all dropped the gloves. Will be interesting to see if that kind of aggressiveness carries over to the regular season.

Another couple of good games from the Bruins. We're 2-1-1 so far with lots of scoring. The best news is that I seem to be getting away with Spaling/Bonino as 1st and 2nd line centers. I guess we'll see how long that lasts!

Sabres lose a rematch with the Wings to fall briefly to 2-1 but then blow out the Leafs in an exciting rivalrly game

Game Notes

Tobias Enstrom and Kyle Quincey fight to a draw at 4:41 of 1st period
Scott Clemmensen enters game at 19:34 of 2nd period
Tobias Enstrom and Rich Clune fight to a draw at 1:48 of 3rd period
Jason Pominville has scored a Hat Trick!
Cory Conacher beats up Sam Gagner at 7:33 of 3rd period
Emerson Etem and Mark Fraser fight to a draw at 12:09 of 3rd period
Benoit Pouliot and Jordin Tootoo fight to a draw at 17:48 of 3rd period
Alexander Steen and Michael Grabner fight to a draw at 18:37 of 3rd period

Sabres that continue to play well include Derek Roy and the youngsters fighting for jobs Etem and Obrien who are amongst the rookie scoring leaders. Some of the other top guns such as Vanek and Pominville got their game going a bit this weekend. Mike Green appears to be a more well rounded player this year , currently leading the CPHL in plus minus

Pleasantly surprised with the results thus far for the Blackhawks. Giroux makes an appearance in the game vs Nashville and then squeaking out a win in a shoot out with Colorado. Still experimenting with the roster, but have to be happy thus far.
