MLA arrested seeking prostitues while at a conference in Minnesota
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmont...on-charge.html
If you think the oil is dirty, you may want to meet the politician!
MLA for the Ft Mac area, busted by undercover cops.
He resigned from caucus but if the allegations are true, he should resign his seat.
Another scandal for the PCs.

Buddy broke the law. String him up by his thumbs, and so on.
Can someone remind me why prostitution is illegal?

In Canada, it's not.
Is he married? Story doesn't say.

Poor guy, his MLA pay is so paltry he had to resort to turning tricks.
Edit: Sure, change the thread title.

Man, the PC's can't catch any breaks. (Not that I really want them too) First the 'enemy' list today and now this.
Looking at the picture, I can see why he'd have to pay for it.
I have to agree that for the most part, this is a non issue for me. It really only bugs me when you have a politician going way over the top preaching family values (which generally only happens to those Republicans south of the border, it's not as big an issue or voter concern here) and then get shown to be the lying hypocrite they are.
I'm far more concerned on his, and his parties track record on oil policy and the oil sands, because that does affect me.
EDIT: Just realized this is the Alberta PC's, not the Federal CPC. Shoulda known as it said MLA, but I was reading it too fast. Still, I guess you could say it was a bad day for conservatives.

Haha, yeah your right!
It doesn't seem to say if he was procuring or offering. And one sentence, though I believe it was just written poorly, almost does suggest the latter.

Came in looking for a caucus joke, leaving disappointed. I may return to see if someone has taken on this challenge.

It's rumoured the PC's can't control their caucus but it's now getting out of hand.
That's all I got.

PC MLA busted for Soliciting Prostitute. Caucus left largely unsatisfied. Caucus appeased by use of reprimand by Party Whip.

His caucus will no doubt institute stiff penalties. He's gonna be in a hole for a while.

To clarify, prostitution is not illegal but the
public solicitation for the purposes is.
