High River's also hosting the Canadian Hot Air Balloon Championships that weekend. I'm thinking of coming down - it's either gonna be [CP playoff pool + High River + Pinball and Arcade show] or the Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo for me that weekend.

I'm glad you have provided your itinerary, I was worried that we wouldn't be able to coordinate our schedules...

Ooo, will have to let my husband know. He'll probably want to go - as will my daughter. I'll tag along if they decide to go, and go see how the cemetery fared, check out dad's gravesite.
We're headed to Radium for the Columbia Valley Classics Autumn Show & Shine. I intend to have a long and undisturbed afternoon nap while my husband and daughter check out the cars, lol.

Your husband and daughter won't be disappointed. IIRC we 1,500 vehicles last year.

There have been problems with Hells Angels at some Show and Shine events in BC. I assume this is not the situation here.

We spent quite a bit of time at that car. My husband enjoyed looking it over and speaking with some of the other guys crowded around it - there was a large crowd surrounding it when we walked up.
One of my favorites was that old van (or whatever it was) from Marv's Classic Soda Shop in Black Diamond. Very cool.
