Looks pretty interesting, but the acting in the trailer is absolutely brutal. Maybe that's their intention based on the reality concept of the show, but it's going to be hard to take things seriously if they only have a bunch of brutal actors on the show long-term.

Don't know what he can do with his missing hand... oh and being dead and all sort of doesn't help matters either.

I just watched the first two episodes and for some reason I do like it. Maybe because of the hot chicks.
While some of the acting is schlocky, they've had some pretty solid story elements so far.

Yeah, I'm with you Captain...I'm kind of liking it as well. Then again, I was a huge Harper's Island fan as well.

I saw the first episode without knowing what it was (a fake reality show) and was almost horrified. It was one of those "I can't believe somebody actually put money and effort into this" moments. I'll have to give it another watch without thinking it is supposed to be real.

I watched the first episode without knowing anything about it at all. I didn't realize it was a scripted reality show until the end of the episode despite seeing some questionable things. I felt like I was punked, but I went on to watch the 2nd episode anyway...

Watched both episodes and enjoying it so far. Not sure if it will hold out for the rest of the season. Thinking about showing it to my roommate and not letting her know its 'fake'. See how long it would take to catch on. Probably never will.

Loved tonight's episode for some reason. I think the plot movement was solid with the last two scenes being especially good.
The first episode without the host, who should have shown up after the cabin burned.

As an absolutely huge Survivor fan.... I just can't do it. It's too far beyond ridiculous.

My parents mentioned that they watched 2 episodes thinking it was a real reality show. They said they were a little suspicious when the producers let the contestants boil up poisonous mushrooms.

Something that should be a immunity challenge in Survivor.
Ok Contestants there are 9 mushrooms in here, 8 of them have not been boiled and therefore can cause severe side effects such as explosive diarrhea and tripping balls hallucinations.
Contestant - don't you mean or
No, the 9th mushroom is completely harmless.
Now after you eat these mushrooms we're going to put you in a dark cave and make you try to find the immunity idol, any questions?

Well the first season ended, and I'm not sure its going to be back which in a way is sad, because there was some good in this series, they just left the good til the last minute and a lot of people had probably already tuned out.
All in all it wasn't terrible. There was some nice tension moments through the first year, but they were a little too patient not revealing much until the last five minutes of the season.
My theory
Part of me hopes the show comes back because it was an intriguing show and very interesting at the end.

I have it pvr'd for later. It did take too long to get to it for me. I think I'm on episode 3 or 4.

The acting was pretty bad but for some reason I watched the whole season. I guess I am with you Cap, it really isn't a bad show and actually did have me intrigued at a few points. Would probably tune back in if they do a 2nd season.
