Samsung Ace won't turn on unless charger is in- sort of
Good day,
I have an old Samsung ace which has stopped working, and ideally need a new phone, but I like to do my research on these things first, so I would like to fix my current phone first - if at all possible.
What has happen is it turns off the second I pull the charger from the phone. But here is the kicker - the battery level on the phone says it is full, and the charger doesn't have to be plugged into an outlet
Once it turns off, the only way to turn it back on is to plug the charger back into an outlet, wait for the charging screen to appear, then turn it on. Once on, I can remove the charger from the outlet, but am forced to leave it in the phone. I could attempt to walk around with a charger in my pants......... but even if I would like to go that direction as a band-aid, the second the charger moves the phone turns off.
Any ideas?
