Default Laser teeth whitening advice/experiences

For the people who have had their teeth whitened, was it a good experience? Any bad experiences? Do you regret it? Are you happy with the results?
Change in the sensitivity of your teeth?

Just trying to make a decision on if I should whiten my teeth in the next few days. Searched online and got some mixed reviews so looking to the CP faithful.

I can't say I have, though my mom did it several years back and had some sensitivity for a few days. I personally have an obsession with Crest White Strips and do use them religiously every 6 months. I don't use any extra strength stuff or dentist prescription ones because they're much more potent and my teeth are very sensitive now. I don't know much much laser whitening costs, but why not try white strips first?

Laser Whitening isn't recommended. It is for immediate results that are required. You can get a pro whitening kit with a mold for your upper and lower teeth and use for 3 weeks for 30 mins and you will get great results.

Crest white strips are good too.

Again, the only benefit of laser is that it is instant. However, more costly and the teeth will stain again. So going with a regular regime is the way to go.

The "sensitivity" after is a bit of an understatement. It's actually more similar to having somebody stab at the nerves of your teeth, at random and without warning, for about 2 days. Then it's okay.

The effects weren't super spectacular. I am a coffee drinker, and it was an improvement, and it was kind of free because our benefits plan at the time allowed for it.
