Monoprice sale - 12% off everything
Not sure if anyone needs cables or other stuff, but they don't have site wide sales often. The sale ends today.

Not to derail this, but I stopped using Monoprice once I started getting billed ridiculous amounts of money from DHL for brokerage fees.
123inkcartridges.ca has HDMI cables/etc, and they are even branded with Monoprice. Plus they are based in Vancouver so shipping is cheaper.

I've had a couple run-ins with DHL on brokerage, it's pretty terrible. I basically have started shipping everything to a friend's place in Whitefish for that reason.

If I recall correctly, if you pay the customs yourself, then the brokerage fee goes away (You have to go to the airport though).
I've had to do that with some Fedex/UPS orders in the past. I've never had anything delivered by DHL that had a brokerage fee though, so I don't know if it's the same procedure.

Nope, it sure isn't.
I just put in an order to be shipped/delivered with Canada Post.
It takes the longest, but it's the cheapest and when I've used it in the past I didn't get dinged with any extra charges.

Interesting, I dont remember Canada Post ever being an option when I ordered. Thats good to know if the price difference is worth it.

I've used Monoprice before and love them.
Here's the options I have for shipping for a $15 order:

The quality of some of their products is very good despite being cheaper. Dan and I have 4 microphones for "on location" recordings for the podcast, and they are very good at isolating sound and sound quality, especially for $14. I'm sure a lot of their other things are quite good as well, even if they aren't brand name.

Well damn, I guess I have to dig deeper to uncover the shipping options then. I only recall seeing DHL.

It has to be under 4lbs to ship via USPS/Canada Post.
Other option is use something like package express.

Sometimes I've been given the Canada Post option and another time I wasn't and got raped by DHL. Canada Post option takes forever though. I've been using Monoprice for years and their quality and prices have always impressed until DHL came along.
